Presence over technique
Methods matter, but the steady, unhurried attention of the practitioner is the deeper instrument.
The practice & the practitioner
3 H Sanctuary was founded by Michelle Osterday on the conviction that healing is not a product but a relationship — to the body, to lineage, and to a few simple intentions kept steadily over time.
The story
My name is Michelle Osterday, and my path into healing began in the summer of 2025, when I found my way to the Shumei Crestone Center and was introduced to the practice of Jyorei. Something in that encounter settled quietly into me — a recognition more than a discovery. I pursued my certification with full attention, and it was after my second training class that I discovered December 23rd — my birthday — is also Meishusama's birthday. In that moment, I knew with complete certainty that I had to finish my training and receive my Ohikari pendant on that very day. I did exactly that, on December 23rd, 2025. The shared birthday delighted my teacher, delighted me, and delighted everyone I met within the Shumei family. It felt less like a coincidence and more like a confirmation.
The next chapter arrived quietly, on New Year's Eve 2025, back at the Shumei Crestone Center. After the special Sampai ceremony, at dinner, an acquaintance I deeply respect — Duke, himself a Quantum Touch healer — introduced me to the modality. He suggested I start with Richard Gordon's first book, Quantum Touch Healing, noting that the foundations could be learned quickly from the text alone. I followed through the very next day. Within a few months I completed the Level 1 class and instantly recognized it as one of my life's true callings. Over 65 of the required 90 practice hours have been accrued, with genuinely meaningful results. Completing certification is now simply a matter of time and the additional investment needed to finish the remaining two advanced classes.
I am based in the San Luis Valley of South Central Colorado and do not yet have a fixed office — something I am actively working to change. In-person Quantum Touch sessions are offered at your location, with a modest travel fee. Distance sessions are equally effective and available by video call, phone, or email consultation. Jyorei, as tradition requires, is offered in person — as a complimentary accompaniment to Quantum Touch sessions, with any donation given directly to the Shumei Crestone Center. Every engagement begins with a consultation, so we can understand together what you are seeking and how I can best serve you.
What guides the work
Methods matter, but the steady, unhurried attention of the practitioner is the deeper instrument.
Quantum Touch and Jyorei are honored as the traditions they are. Nothing is invented; everything is offered as it was given.
Lasting shifts come from gentle, repeated returns. The sanctuary keeps a small calendar so each session can be attended to fully.

Roots & resources
Quantum Touch was developed by Richard Gordon, who spent decades studying energy healing before formalizing the method in his book Quantum Touch: The Power to Heal. His work is the foundation of every Quantum Touch session offered here.
Visit QuantumTouch.comJyorei was taught by Meishusama, founder of Shumei International, as a practice of channeling Divine Light to dissolve spiritual cloudiness. It is carried forward today through Shumei communities worldwide, including the Shumei Crestone Center in Crestone, Colorado, where I trained and received my Ohikari pendant.
